本标准规定了液化石油气瓶阀（以下简称阀）的术语和定义、型号编制、结构型式及基本尺寸、技术要求、检查与试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装和贮运等。
本标准适用于使用环境温度为-40 ℃～+60 ℃，公称工作压力为不大于2.5 MPa，介质符合GB 11174 液化石油气钢瓶上的阀。
本标准不适用于车用液化石油气瓶阀。注：本标准的压力均指表压。
