本标准规定了安装在垂直分隔构件开口处的门和卷帘总成的耐火试验方法。如：
——铰链门、枢轴门；
——水平滑动门、垂直滑动门，包括链接滑动门和分段门；
——卷帘门；
——其他滑动、折叠门；
——翻板门；
——可在墙中移动的板。
本标准规定的试验方法也可通过类推法用于测定非承重水平门和卷帘的耐火性能，第13章中给出的直接应用范围不适用于水平门。
本标准不包括机械适应性方面的要求，例如震动试验或耐久试验，它们包含在相关产品标准中。
