GB/T 7673的本部分规定了纸绝缘多股绞合导线(简称绞合导线)的技术要求，绞合导线的线芯是符合GB/T 12970的电工软铜绞线。绝缘层是由3层及以上的绝缘纸带作重叠或间隙绕包而成。
本部分规定的纸绝缘多股绞合导线适用于变压器或高压电气设备的引线。
本部分应与GB/T 7673.1一起使用。
本部分适用的线芯标称截面范围为：(10～500)mm2。
