本标准规定了在给定拉力下静止的输送带与转动的钢制滚筒相摩擦而导致明焰和炽燃的可能性的试验方法，以及改变拉力的方式。
本标准适用于输送带滚筒摩擦试验。

注:某些类型的输送带可能由于结构上原因而不符合6.2.3中的要求，从而不能进行本试验。
