本标准规定了符合GB/T 8186要求的挤奶设备和组件的试验方法，以及测试仪器的精度要求。

附录A中描述的测试程序主要用于实验室测定。附录C给出了一个现场测试的程序，可减少测试工作和时间，附录D是相应的试验报告式样。
