本标准规定了优质碳素结构钢热轧钢带的分类代号、订货内容、尺寸外形及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则以及包装、标志、质量证明书等。
本标准适用于宽度小于600 mm、厚度不大于12 mm的优质碳素结构钢热轧钢带，宽度为600 mm～750 mm的钢带可参照本标准。
