本标准适用于辐射防护领域中使用的便携式或固定式α、β和α/β表面污染测量仪与监测仪的校准（测量的β最大能量大于60 keV）；也适用于那些有特殊用途的仪器和为测量特殊性质表面而设计的仪器的校准。
本标准不适用于β粒子的最大能量小于60 keV辐射监测仪或测量仪的校准。
