本标准规定了工业过程测量和控制系统用自动平衡式记录仪和指示仪(以下简称为仪表)的基本参数、要求、试验方法和检验规则等。
本标准适用于工业过程测量和控制系统用模拟电信号的电子自动电位差计、平衡电桥式记录仪和指示仪(以下分别简称为电位差计和电桥)。电位差计的输入侧额定外阻值不大于10 000 Ω；电桥的输入侧额定外阻值不大于1 500 Ω。
本标准仅适用于一般工作条件下使用的仪表，特殊工作条件下使用的仪表的额外技术要求不属于本标准范围。本标准亦不包括带有附加装置的仪表的附加要求。
