本标准规定了用滴定分析法测定酸度、碱度的通用方法。
本标准适用于水溶性试剂中酸、碱的测定。非水溶性试剂中可溶于水的酸、碱，在用水萃取之后，也可用本法在水相中测定。
用本标准测定酸度或碱度时，按规格值和取样量计算，所用碱标准滴定溶液或酸标准滴定溶液的滴定体积不得小于0.1 mL。
