GB/T 9771的本部分规定了B1.3类波长段扩展的非色散位移单模光纤的几何、光学、传输特性和机械、环境性能的要求，规定了光纤特性的测量方法。该类光纤的零色散波长在1 310 nm附近，它除了可以使用在1 310nm和1 550 nm波长区域外，还扩展到了1 360 nm~1 530 nm波长区域。
本部分适用于通信光缆和其他信息传输设备中使用的B1.3类单模光纤。
