本文件规定了使用不超过1 000 V直流或交流(50 Hz或60 Hz)供电的LED模块用电子控制装置(以下简称“控制装置”)的特殊安全要求，该电子控制装置的输出频率可不同于电源频率。本文件中规定的LED模块用控制装置是设计在安全特低电压或更高的电压下能够为LED模块提供恒定的电压或电流的控制装置。非纯电压源和电流源类型控制装置也包括在本文件之内。适用于本文件的GB/T 19510.1-2023的附录和所使用的名词“光源”理解为也包含LED模块。安全特低电压控制装置的特殊要求在附录A中给出。性能要求见IEC 62384。作为灯具的一部分，插入式控制装置与内装式控制装置类似，灯具标准包含了附加要求。
