Scope of Application：
本标准规定了三个型别、二种类别软管的要求。这些软管预定用于船用发动机湿式排气系统（此处的废气混有排放的冷却水)。三个型别如下：
——1型：软壁软管，用耐油材料制造，用合成纤维增强；
——2型：硬壁软管，用耐油材料制造，用合成纤维增强并嵌入螺旋钢丝；
——3型：软管或非增强软管（软连接)，用耐油材料制造，有或无增强层或外覆层，旨在短长度使用于防止连接器机械损坏的部位。
二种类别如下：
——A类，用于柴油机；
——B类，用于汽油机和排气温度非常高的柴油机。
本标准不适用于船外发动机和（或)个人水运工具。
