本标准规定了具有保温、蒸炖、爆炒、油炸等烹调功能的商用电磁灶(炉)的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输与贮存。本标准适用于单个或多个加热单元的商用电磁灶和商用电磁炉(以下简称电磁灶)，其单个额定功率不超过30 kW，额定电压不超过450 V。本标准不适用于：家用便携式电磁灶、拟用于特殊环境条件下的电磁灶(如腐蚀性环境或容易引起爆炸的环境)、室外用电磁灶、工频电磁灶等。
