本文件规定了采用双辊铸轧工艺生产的商品级热轧碳素钢薄钢板及钢带的特征，双辊铸轧工艺见附录B。双辊铸轧热轧碳素钢薄钢板及钢带适合于许多应用场合，在这些应用场合，可存在的氧化物、氧化铁皮，或去除氧化物或氧化铁皮之后发现的正常表面缺陷。本产品不适用于对表面质量有较高要求的应用。
本文件适用于采用双辊铸轧工艺生产的商品级热轧碳素钢薄钢板及钢带。
商品级双辊铸轧热轧碳素钢薄钢板及钢带用于通用制造用途。通常以扁平材使用，用于弯曲、中度成型和焊接作业。
注： 本文件不包含后续进行再轧制的薄钢板及钢带。
