Scope of Application：
本文件规定了在有或无覆盖层、保护层条件下，对铁磁性金属部件金属损失进行检测的脉冲涡流(PEC)检测技术的要求。
本文件适用于碳钢和低合金钢制成的母材表面温度在-196 ℃~500 ℃范围内的在役部件检测。对于均匀腐蚀的检测，部件的标称壁厚范围为3 mm~65 mm，非金属覆盖层厚度范围为0 mm~200 mm；对于点腐蚀的检测，部件的壁厚范围为3 mm~65 mm，非金属覆盖层厚度范围为0 mm~100 mm。被检测部件还包括直径不小于50 mm的管道。
本文件描述的脉冲涡流技术对部件几何形状敏感，将该技术应用于其范围之外的部件将导致不可预测的不准确性。本文件不适用于裂纹缺陷的检测。
