Scope of Application：
本标准规定了以脆性失效为特征的精细陶瓷单轴强度数据的概率分布参数估计方法。
注： 精细陶瓷的失效强度被作为一个连续的随机变量。通常情况下，固定几何尺寸的样品在加载情况下发生失效，记录破坏时的载荷，所得的失效应力用来估算总体分布相关的参数。
本标准适用于以失效强度为基础的两参数韦布尔分布。此外，本标准限定试验样品(拉伸、弯曲、加载环等)是受单轴应力。6.4和6.5概述修正韦布尔参数估值偏差的方法，并从所有断裂源于单一缺陷总体(即单一失效模式)的数据集计算这些估值的置信区间。对于断裂源于多个独立缺陷总体的样本(例如竞争失效模式)，6.4和6.5中的偏倚修正和计算置信区间的方法不适用。
