本文件适用于单相器具额定电压不超过250 V，其他器具额定电压不超过480 V，在家庭和类似场所使用的中央电暖系统的设计、集成、识别与评价。
本文件适用范围的中央电暖系统包括但不限于：
——用在家庭中各类房间如卧室、客厅、浴室、书房、厨房等的中央电暖系统；
——用在各类学校如大学、中学和小学等的教室、办公楼、食堂、活动室、图书馆的中央电暖系统；
——用在幼儿园、老年人活动场所、托儿所、医院、特种教育学校等特殊人群集聚场所的中央电暖系统；
——用在办公、厂房、工地和体育场馆等的中央电暖系统。
注： 以上用在某些场所的中央电暖系统可能需要附加要求。
