本标准规定了热收缩薄膜收缩性能的热缩强度、冷缩强度和收缩率的试验方法。本标准适用于以聚乙烯、乙烯共聚物及其混合物生产的热收缩薄膜，其他类型材料的热收缩薄膜也可参照执行。注： 本方法也可用于收缩率（空气介质)的评定。但是，相关收缩率的测定方法主要参考标准GB/T 12027-2004。
