GB/T 25444的本部分（以下简称本部分）规定了移动式和固定式近海设施危险区域分级和危险区域内电气设备的选择要求，适用于近海石油工业的钻井、生产、处理及贮存，包括管路、泵站或管内清扫站、空压机站和外露的单浮筒系泊设施。
本部分适用于危险区域内的交流电压不大于35 000 V和直流电压不大于750 V，永久的、临时的、移动或手持的所有电气装置（交流和直流电压为标称电压）。
本部分不适用于舱室内的医用电气装置或液货船上的电气装置。
