Scope of Application：
本文件描述了壁厚为3.2 mm～8.0 mm的钢构件熔焊接头半自动或全自动相控阵超声检测。此厚度范围是该检测技术重点应用于锅炉管壁的典型厚度范围。当使用检测等级D级时，壁厚能超过本文件规定的最小或最大厚度。本文件适用于板、管和容器的简单几何形状的全熔透焊接接头，其中焊材和母材均为低合金钢和/或细晶粒钢。
注： “半自动检测”包括固定扫查装置（扫查架和标尺等），手动移动一个或多个探头，探头位置由位置传感器获得。“全自动检测”还包括机械化扫查装置。
本文件规定的材料声学参数，是基于纵波声速为（5 920±50）m/s和横波声速为（3 255±30）m/s的钢材。在检测具有不同声速的材料时，考虑声速变化影响。
本文件提供了采用相控阵检测技术对熔焊接头中不连续的检测、定位、定量和表征等能力和局限性的指导。在制造检测和役前检测中，相控阵技术能作为单独技术使用，也能与其他无损检测（NDT）方法或技术结合使用。
本文件规定了以下2个检测等级：
——检测等级C级，适用于通用情况；
——检测等级D级，适用于特殊情况/特殊应用。
本文件基于以下内容对不连续进行验收评定：
——高度和长度；
——幅度（当量尺寸）和长度；
——接受/不接受的判断。
本文件不包括不连续的验收等级。
