本标准适用于对人体样本(包括血液、脑脊液和粪便等)或其培养物进行单次检测可报告3种及以上细菌和真菌(以下简称“病原菌”,不包括支原体和衣原体)的试剂盒的质量控制。适用于检测原理为聚合酶链反应等温扩增以及第二代测序等技术的试剂盒。
本标准不适用于单次检测可报告1种或2种病原菌的试剂盒。不适用于单次检测可报告1种或2种病原菌的不同基因的试剂盒。不适用于单次检测可报告1种或2种病原菌的不同型别(基因型或血清型)的试剂盒。
