Scope of Application：
本文件规定了如ISO 5053-1所定义的自行式工业伸缩臂式叉车和伸缩臂式集装箱搬运车/正面吊（以下简称“车辆”)的安全要求及其验证方法。此类车辆在正常工业用途时通常配有货叉或整体式载荷搬运装置（如集装箱吊具等)。
本文件不适用于：
——越野型伸缩臂式叉车；
——越野型伸缩臂式集装箱搬运车；
——设计主要用于土方作业的机械(如装载机和推土机)，即使它们的铲斗和推土板换成了货叉；
——载荷能沿各个方向自由摆动的机械。
本文件中，货叉和整体式属具被看作是车辆的一部分，而安装在承载装置或货叉上的可拆卸式属具则不是。但本文件也给出了这些属具的要求。
