本文件规定了永磁同步电动机的能效等级、技术要求和试验方法。
本文件适用于连续工作制的一般用途或防爆用途永磁同步电动机，范围如下：
a） 50 Hz三相交流电源供电，电压等级为1 140 V及以下，额定功率为0.55 kW～1 000 kW，极数为2极~16极的异步起动三相永磁同步电动机；
b） 50 Hz三相交流电源供电，电压为3 kV（3.3 kV）和6 kV、10 kV，冷却方法为IC81W、IC86W、IC71W（IC3W7）、IC411、IC416、IC511、IC611、IC616、IC516、IC666，额定功率为200 kW~2 000 kW，极数为4极~12极的异步起动三相永磁同步电动机；
c） 变频电源供电，电压为1 140 V及以下，额定功率为0.55 kW～1 250 kW，额定转速为45 r/min～6 000 r/min的变频调速永磁同步电动机；
d） 变频电源供电，电压为3kV（3.3kV）和6kV、10kV，冷却方法为IC81W、IC86W、IC71W（IC3W7）、IC411、IC416、IC511、IC611、IC616、IC516、IC666，额定功率200 kW及以上，额定转速45 r/min～3 000 r/min的变频调速永磁同步电动机；
e） 变频电源供电，电压为1 140 V及以下，额定功率为0.55 kW～110 kW电梯用永磁同步电动机。
