Scope of Application：
本标准规定了不锈钢和镍基合金在特定液体中的均匀腐蚀速率以及材料活化后钝化能力的测量方法。
本标准适用于估计在大气环境下，材料在液体中的均匀腐蚀速率，也适用于特殊环境条件下的化学工业，但不作为其合格试验。本标准也可用来测定等腐蚀速率图，以及腐蚀速率超过0.1 mm/a时的温度。
本标准不适用于超过1 mm/a的过高腐蚀速率测定，因为更高的腐蚀速率表明该不锈钢不适用这种应用。
本标准不适用于含卤化物溶液，特别是氯化物，因为这类可能导致局部腐蚀。
