本文件规定了对农业、园艺、林业和其他领域施用农药的，除背负式喷雾机（器）外所有型式的在用喷雾机（以下简称喷雾机）进行检测的通用要求。
注： 背负式喷雾机(器)要求可参照ISO 19932-1和 ISO 19932-2。
对于不同类型喷雾机的特殊要求由GB/T 32250的其他部分给出。本文件与GB/T 32250的其他部分（见附录A）一同使用，规定了检测在用喷雾机的技术要求和试验方法。主要涉及喷雾机的状态、对环境产生污染的潜在风险和达到良好作业效果的性能要求。本文件还规定了试验用喷雾机准备工作的最低要求和试验过程中检验人员的最低安全要求。
