本标准规定了双间室或三间室膝关节假体设计中的超高分子量聚乙烯（UHMWPE）胫骨衬垫部件在规定的实验室条件下测定耐久性和变形的测试方法。
本标准适用于超高分子量聚乙烯制造的衬垫部件。
注： 单间室全膝关节置换系统（TKR）也可参照本标准进行测试，前提是单间室系统有足够的约束从而能使用本试验方法。
本标准不适用于测试两个单间室膝关节系统作为一个双间室系统的情况。
