本文件适用于钢铁及合金中钒含量的测定，其中：方法一为硫酸亚铁铵滴定法，适用于钢铁及合金中质量分数为0.1%～10.0%的钒含量的测定，不适用于以下试样中钒含量的测定：a）含钴大于20%（质量分数）试样；b）含铈大于0.01%（质量分数）试样；c）含铬大于20%（质量分数）或含锰大于20%（质量分数）或含钨大于18%（质量分数），钒含量小于0.4%（质量分数）的试样；方法二为N-BPHA（钽试剂）萃取光度法，适用于钢和铸铁中质量分数为0.005%～0.50%的钒含量的测定；方法三为钽试剂萃取光度法，适用于钢铁及合金中质量分数为0.005%～0.50%的钒含量的测定。
