Scope of Application：
本文件规定了所有尺寸的已加工安全照相胶片(以下称照相胶片)的贮存条件、贮存设施、处理和检查的要求，并提出了建议。这些胶片可能是卷状、条状、开窗卡或散页形式。
本文件适用于照相胶片的长期和中期贮存。
本文件适用于不常使用的照相胶片记录的贮存拷贝。它不适用于“工作”或“使用”拷贝(见附录A)。
本文件虽然适用于经过适当冲洗加工过的材料，但对于加工条件未知，经过调色、修版，或者用稳定性不确定或未知的材料标记过的照相胶片，在延长其使用寿命方面也颇有价值。
本文件只适用于安全照相胶片(见ISO 18906)。硝酸酯片基胶片不包含在本文件中。
注： 硝酸酯片基胶片是危险的（见参考文献[16])。它们需要特殊的贮存条件（见参考文献[12])，但本文件中规定的环境条件是适用的。
本文件不适用于照相纸和照相干板，因为它们的贮存需要不同的条件,具体分别在ISO 18920和ISO 18918中有叙述。
