Scope of Application：
本文件规定了碳基薄膜的分类、命名及简称。本文件所述的碳基薄膜是以碳为主要成分，并由物理气相沉积（PVD）或化学气相沉积（CVD）制备所得的薄膜。碳基薄膜包括非晶碳基薄膜[又称为类金刚石薄膜(DLC)]，CVD金刚石薄膜、石墨薄膜和类聚合物碳基薄膜。
本文件适用于工业规模生产的碳基薄膜。本文件不适用于尚未实现工业规模生产的其余种类碳基薄膜。
本文件只涉及碳基薄膜材料，不涉及由主体功能层和上/下附加层组成的复合涂层。
薄膜中各层组分和/或性能随厚度变化的薄膜称为梯度薄膜。本文件涉及的碳基薄膜均指非梯度薄膜。
碳基薄膜可能包含如氢、金属或其他元素。其中金属成分还包含金属碳化物。本文件涵盖的掺杂碳基薄膜只包括以碳元素为主要成分的薄膜体系。对于碳以碳化物形式存在的含碳基薄膜，也不适用于本文件中的金属掺杂非晶碳基薄膜（a-C:Me，a-C:H:Me）体系。
本文件不适用于富勒烯、碳纳米管、石墨烯、石墨炔等碳材料。
