本文件规定了苯乙烯丙烯腈（SAN)热塑性塑料材料的命名系统，该系统为分类基础。
不同类型的SAN塑料材料用下列指定的特征性能的值以及推荐用途和（或)加工方法、重要性能、添加剂、着色剂、填料和增强材料等作为基础的一种分类系统加以区分：
a) 维卡软化温度；
b) 熔体质量流动速率。
本文件适用于结合丙烯腈含量为5%～50%的所有苯乙烯和（或)取代苯乙烯的共聚物。本文件适用于常规为粉状、颗粒或碎粒状的，未改性或经着色剂、添加剂、填料等改性的材料。
本文件不适用于发泡材料。
