对于与鞋底形状无关或对鞋底尺寸有不同要求的滑雪板固定系统，滑雪靴靴底不必符合本文件以达到所需的安全程度。
本文件适用于世界鞋号大于等于15.0的滑雪靴（见附录A）。
本文件适用于硬旅行雪靴。本文件不适用于不需要壳体作为脱离结构的软壳雪靴（如特里马雪靴）。本文件不适用于功能与鞋底形状无关或者在鞋底尺寸方面有不同要求的滑雪板固定系统。
