本文件规定了农林窄轮距轮式拖拉机前置式翻滚防护装置的静态和动态强度试验规程，定义了容身区并且确定了前置固定或可折叠双柱式（包括所有附属的后部刚性部件）翻滚防护装置的验收条件，规定了安全带固定装置和前置式翻滚防护装置折叠力的可选试验规程。
本文件适用于具有以下特征的拖拉机：
——前轴和后轴最低点的离地间隙不大于600 mm（不包括差速器的最低点）；
——对前轮或后轮有最大尺寸轮胎的，无论轮距是固定的或可调的，拖拉机的最小轮距均不大于1 150 mm；
——拖拉机无配重质量（包括翻滚防护装置和制造商推荐的最大轮胎）大于400 kg且小于3 500 kg；
——配备了仅能安装在座椅标志点（SIP）前部的双柱式翻滚防护装置；
——质量比（mr）不大于1.75。
