本文件描述了空腔半导体器件稳态加速度的试验方法。本试验的目的是检测那些不是一定要通过冲击和振动来检测的结构和机械类型的缺陷。它作为高应力（破坏性）试验来测定封装、内部金属化和引线系统、芯片或基板的焊接以及微电子器件其他构成部分的机械强度极限值。如果确定了适当的应力强度，本试验方法可用作生产线非破坏性的100%筛选试验，用以检测和剔除构成单元机械强度低于正常值的器件。
