本文件适用于公称厚度为3.0 mm~250 mm的单张热轧钢板(以下简称单轧钢板)；公称厚度不大于25.4 mm的热连轧钢板及钢带，包括公称宽度不小于600 mm的热连轧宽钢带及剪切钢板、纵切钢带和公称宽度小于600 mm的热连轧窄钢带及剪切钢板(以下简称钢板和钢带)。
注： 单轧钢板、钢板和钢带在本文件中统称钢材。
